Spring I: さくら

Spring has arrived in Osaka and with it the beautiful sakura (cherry blossoms). The sakura came early this year but they still had the power to attract countless cameras to record their beauty. Behind my house there are 130 cherry trees that run along a small stream so I don't have to go far to see sakura. Many people walk along the stream to view the flowers and enjoy the warm spring air. Upstream, a local resident's association writes and displays senryu poetry. Everyone seems to love spring...
